Character creation questions
We about to start a new campaign and I have some questions on character creation and morphs. How many morphs do you actually start with during play? During creation, if you do get a secondary morph, where will it it be stored or it "made to order" kind of deal?

Re: Character creation questions
You don't start with any morphs for free during character creation -- a player has as many or as few as they choose to pay points for. Unless they're playing an infomorph, though, they're normally going to buy at least one. If you do buy a secondary morph, where it's stored is largely up to the player. You might be able to get away with leaving a Case stuffed in your closet (they make great coat racks!); a biomorph needs a storage facility of some type, which might be handled by Firewall on the PCs behalf or by some other organization they're part of. Conversely, they might just pay a storage fee to have a commercial interest take care of it for them. Really depends on the character in question.

Re: Character creation questions
The rulebook says somewhere that any given character can have as many morphs as he can pay. So if he wants to burn, for example, 100 points in a Reaper mod and 50 in a Steel morph, he can (with the permission of the GM, of course). I tend to limit things a little, however, for the 0 point cost morphs (flats and infomorphs), in the way that you can only have one morph if you don't want to pay any points for a morph (so buying a splicer and several informorphs is a no-go). Once in game, however, the players can do as they like... or can. Not all morphs will be avaiable everywhere everytime, and certain rarer models will have a randomly-chosen particularities (like sex. It's quite interesting to see the player not wanting a ghost because the only avaiable one is of a different gender than his character's ego). And forking has some side effects for the fork, of course.
