Core Book Reprint Pre-Orders

The reprint of the Eclipse Phase core rulebook is now available for pre-order through Indie Press Revolution!

This is the 3rd printing of the core book. It includes all of the errata to date, new artwork (all of the art is now Creative Commons-licensed), a heavier paper stock, 2 bookmarks, and a few other touch-ups!

We don't have a street release date just yet, but we expect to have that nailed down soon. The books are currently in transit from printer to warehouse.

the shipping eet keeels ussssss... Clarification: I don't mind buying it again. I bought the PDF and the first printing but IPR's international shipping fees cost almost as much as the book (and that's the cheapest option I could find). I find that a tad unreasonable...

IPR's shipping to overseas is pricey. Please wait a couple of weeks for it to hit other stores closer to your location. :)

Re: Core Book Reprint Pre-Orders
is there a way to tell the re-print apart from the other edition? I wanted to pick it up from amazon but I'm not sure which one they have.

Amazon doesn't have any of the printings. So, when will they get some?

Belated reply (notification glitches, grr), but just in case: Amazon has it now, and they have the 3rd printing only. You can tell the new edition because it has a Posthuman Studios logo and 2 bookmarks, and no Catalyst logo. It's also noticeably thicker than the previous printings.

Any chance that future editions/printings might be in softcover? A book that size with a flexible spine might last longer.

We have not been seeing or hearing about longevity problems with the current print of Eclipse Phase core rules -- and if we did, we'd almost certainly discuss what could be done to improve the binding/construction on hardcovers before printing softcovers. I'm not saying "no softcovers, never," but it's unlikely for the core rulebook.
