Eclipse Phase maps
I don't know if this has been covered before, but I was thinking about some ideas and I realize that I don't know where, in a map, is anything in Eclipse Phase. In Mercury or orbits that isn't much of an issue, but I'd like to put a map my laptop's screen (or my tablet's) and show my players where is everything in Venus, Moon, Mars... Specifically, Mars would be a very interesting place to start, since it has been considered the "transhumanity's new homeworld". Right now, and after exploiting a little my google-Fu, I found a page with some stuff: http://ralphaeschliman.com/id22.htm I also found this page: http://www.erbzine.com/mag14/1438.html Then there's Marble 0.7, for KDE... which means linux app: http://edu.kde.org/marble/current_0.7.php And somewhere there was a Google Earth version that covered more than just Earth, but I don't know much detail about it...

Re: Eclipse Phase maps
You might want to search through the archives, we have had threads discussing this. I did a little Google Mars kml file, and I recommend using Celestia for showing the planetary relations and flying between them (it would be fairly easy to add most habitats to Celestia).

Re: Eclipse Phase maps
What precisely do you want a map of? There's a map of Mars in Sunward. A map of Venus wouldn't be very useful, because almost all of the habitats float around, so the map would fall out of date. Same story with basically everywhere else but Mercury, Earth, and Luna. The Earth map has its own google site, maps.google.com , but it doesn't show all of the updates (it's basically pre-Fall). Luna and Mercury ... I want to say both have maps in Sunward, but I wouldn't put money on it. For a system map, Celestia is your best bet. I played with it a bit and found what is basically the right date to match the maps in the book most of the way. Unfortunately, the space between planets is crazy huge compared to the planets themselves, so it doesn't make a very nice background, except to illustrate to your players why they egocast instead of flying everywhere.

Thanks, I'll have a look. I hope the Darkcast site will have this kind of data integrated soon, because it really is quite interesting to have something like that for the players to see.

A map of Mercure, Luna, or Titan for exemple. Especially Luna and Titan.

Re: Eclipse Phase maps
I think I posted the .kmz file for Google Mars that I gave to the cartographer on Sunward. If it's not there, I'd be happy to post it.
