Lower Hudson Valley NY / Northeastern NJ (but *not* NYC)
I'd love to find potential Eclipse Phase gamers in my area; I live in Orange County NY right near the Thruway, and not terribly far from Rockland County or northeastern NJ. It's a bit tricky to find fellow gamers around here; I'd normally check out the local gaming store, but there aren't any decent ones between Albany and NYC. I've never played an RPG before, but I used to have a habit of reading the source material for various systems (e.g., D&D, WoD, BESM). Eclipse Phase is the first game that has left me yearning to actually play. I also enjoy a variety of board/card games (e.g., Settlers of Catan, Dominion), so I wouldn't mind finding a group of players who were interested in alternating between Eclipse Phase and non-roleplaying games.

How far are you from Mapplewood NJ, and would you be willing to travel for a demo/ regular campaign.

It's over an hour's drive from me; I'm afraid that's a bit too far. Thanks for the thought, though!
