Synthetic sleeves - clothing and worn equipment
I am curious how other people with synthetic sleeves handle clothing. For humanoid shaped morphs it probably depends on habitat and predominant faction. Being appropriate/decent in the PC, nobody cares on a scum barge. So one could use it to blend in or also stand out. "You see that case? He actually dares wearing a tux to my party!" Then on the other hand we came on the question of how to transport gear. Smart clothing seems interactive enough to cover all shapes of sleeves. But I guess a Reaper would be hindered by something covering it fully. Is gear carried internally and extruded as needed? Does a vest, or a belt decrease a Dragonflys mobility? How did you handle vacuum suits? To protect equipment if not the sleeve? Thank you for any feedback.

Re: Synthetic sleeves - clothing and worn equipment
There are in all likelihood within the setting myriad corps whose sole market is synth accessories. Sure, your reaper might not wear a tux, but who's to say he doesn't have designer TRON-esque blacklight tracing incorporated into his frame? While there are certainly bigots who might say something discriminatory or rude about such a situation, that doesn't mean that suddenly synths aren't concerned with style and looking good, and since they don't share some of the body taboos associated with a meat morph, while having more freedom to pioneer their own styles, I would think many synths would delight in inventing new ways of handling style and utility concerns.

Re: Synthetic sleeves - clothing and worn equipment
Seems the question can be boiled down to; How important are Pockets and Purses in the EP setting? How important is Style to a synth? probably no one (or very few deranged peope) actually 'live' in purpose built morphs like Reapers. So, I suspect that for purpose built synthetics pockets and style are not important. Pockets are probably very important to lower end generalized anthroforms like Cases and Synths because if people are using one of those morphs they probably can't afford to have all the gear they need built in. (I'm assuming that having the gear built in would be the idea in all situations.) People who are choose or are forced to live full time in a synth probably do make stylistic adjustments to their bodies but in some sense living in that form is less physical than living in a biomorph and since style is a form of socialization customization and individuality of the physical morph is less important than the individuality and customization of the person's Mesh presence. at least that's how I envision things.
