We're stuck on the name for our next book, so we're reaching out for suggestions. We have only a few days left to decide, however, so the last day we'll entertain suggestions is this Tuesday, Dec. 7th.The book following Gatecrashing covers several unrelated topics that you wouldn't normally be able to fill an entire sourcebook about, but that we felt were important to cover. (Similar to a State of the Art book for Shadowrun.) We've modified the content a few times, but the current version covers three topics in detail: uplifts, habitats, and the panopticon (surveillance/sousveillance).The working title we've been using for this project is Hotfix -- as in, a software patch applied to a system while it's running, without restarting it. We're not super keen on this title, though. Frankly, we'd rather avoid anything that gives the implication that we are "fixing" something that is broken. This book is an enhancement to the setting, not a patch :)We've toyed around with many other suggestions, but none of them have grabbed us. These have included: resource kit, service pack, slipstream, and similar software jargon. We even looked at presenting it as all from the viewpoint of a Titan Autonomous University publication and calling it the TAU Review. One distinct possibility to keep in mind is that there may be similar "Hotfix" type books in the future, dealing with separate topics.Alternately, if you can think of a clever way to link uplifts, habitats, and the panopticon together in a title ...We are now almost out of time, however. If we don't come up with a new name by this Tuesday, Hotfix will become the official title.
