This is exciting, I would absolutely LOVE an opportunity to play the game as the designers envisioned it, and share the experience and ideas with my group. Since we all learned to play from scratch using only the rulebook, it will be a great touchstone to see the playstyle envisioned by you guys.
I'd love to see a new form of the Exsurgent virus. I like the variety of strains, both in the core book and in Glory. Maybe a strain of the virus that is discovered around the Iktomi's star, having first mutated to attack them and their machinery, but then mutating again to attack humans. So it would have been filtered from its original state through the alien systems, then adapting again, perhaps bringing some element of Iktomi-ness with it, in the same way the Glory variant has brought some elements of the original spore colony biology with it.

As in the past, I'll probably end up recycling some of our events from Gen Con, along with debuting some new material.
Finally, if anyone is planning to attend Arisia (another regional New England con), now would be a good time to speak up, as I'm on the fence about going this year. If it looks like I could run a good slate of EP events, I'd be more likely to go.
I'll be happily receiving your input until the end of this week.

Heh... I wouldn't take how we do things as canonical in any wise. People who've played the game at cons with Rob, Brian, or I have remarked that it seems to become a completely different thing in each of our hands. Rob's way of running it (in my experience) tends to be very Lovecraftian, whereas Brian's is kind of Warren Ellis-esque. I'll let someone else sound off on what playing it with me is like.
Anyhow, thanks for the input.

Jack, I'll be going with some folks from my group - would love to play in one or more games with you again. Something set planetside would be cool (Mars, or even Earth).
Had fun at Arisia last year, but doing Templecon this year instead.

Hmm, I think my course is clear: the scenario will use material from Gatecrashing. :D

Here's the event description I submitted to TempleCon:
'Xenovore.' Four hour slot. Gatecrashing -- exploration of xenoplanets via Pandora gates -- can be both fabulously rewarding and unspeakably dangerous. The Iktomi ruins on Vishnu IV looked like the find of your careers. With a little luck, you won't end up another layer of dust atop this dead civilization. 'Xenovore' is the first scenario based on the next major EP supplement, _Gatecrashing_, scheduled for release in 2011.
I don't have official approval from TempleCon (I'll make another post when I do), but they like me, so it's 90% likely I'll be doing the scenario described below, a two hour demo I call Hynpogogia (I've never really bothered writing it down, so it plays differently each time), and a reprise of 'Doctrine,' the scenario I wrote for Gen Con this year. And if you're a retro gaming nerd, I'm also going to run the AD&D 1st Edition module 'White Plume Mountain,' which has nothing to do with Eclipse Phase but should be helluv fun.

'Xenovore' seeds dark intrigue...hope it reveals more on the Iktomi~
Will be heading down with a group that has played some EP and really hope there is space to play Sat.
As well, would love to catch the Jack-Graham-Thoughts on the evolution of the EP system, its depth of setting/influences/possibilities, and inquire as to what interest, if any, Posthuman might have in licensing an iPad/Android 'gaming-tool'?
Something that lets folks play EP w/ map views, positions, seeing what choices their characters have (rules-references, percent chances), and Gamemaster-control over those options in addition to an outright video-game developed in the style of X-COM, using full 3D assets...
