Sunward book starting to come apart
Not sure if this is the place to voice customer support issues... My copy of Sunward has sections starting to detach from the spine. I try to handle my books properly but it appears that the problem was already present when I bought it from an online retailer. The EP corebook is holding up well despite being used more frequently. I took some photos: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Should I bring it up with the EP crew or contact the retailer instead?

Re: Sunward book starting to come apart
I was just going to start this thread myself. My copy looked like that just weeks after buying it, I made it about half way through reading it before I put it on the shelf for fear of tearing it apart. My friend's copy isn't in great shape either. It's a shame, it's a beautiful book like the Core Rules but it's just not holding together.

Re: Sunward book starting to come apart
Hiya, Can both of you please email me at adam at posthumanstudios.com, please? I want to make this situation right -- these are the only two reports I've seen of Sunward falling apart (there's always a few in every print run ... :/)

Re: Sunward book starting to come apart
Cool thanks :) When I first got it, I noticed the sections a bit loose from the spine but thought it was part of the book design until one of my players (who bought the Cthulhutech books with the same sort of binding) pointed out that my copy of Sunward was actually falling apart.

Re: Sunward book starting to come apart
I just wanted to say that I'm extremely impressed with Posthuman Studio's response to fellowhoodlum and my's dilemma. Adam was prompt, understanding, and generous. I want to make sure no one who reads this thread takes this as a reason not to buy their products. They make an excellent game and stand by their books. I look forward to the arrival of Gatecrashing so I can expand my collection of EP hardcovers. I'll paraphrase my friend when he saw the core rule book, "Wow. This may be the most gorgeous rpg book I've ever seen." Thank you for making a great game!

Re: Sunward book starting to come apart
Ouch, yeah that's the reason that I don't get modern hardcover books. Every last one I've gotten in the last decade fell apart within two months.
