Pandorum
So that's about the most Eclipse Phase movie I've ever seen.

Re: Pandorum
After seeing the film, I really wanted to strangle Paul WS Anderson for interfering with it. This could have been a very interesting movie about a crew waking up to find the colonists have all gone feral, etc. But, no, they had to put the whole robo-zombie thing in there.

Actually, I liked the robo-zombie part! it's really one of my favorite parts of the movie. plus the ship itself makes a great basis to describe the Song Cai Flower.

Robo-zombie? Where? I missed it. What is this about the robo-zombie? The film had its moments-but most of them were not central to the plot-the ending(although the cliche "we were on the planet all the time" has been used before), the scenes about Solar System were nice.

Re: Pandorum
well it was not really robo zombie per se, but approaching, considering the origin of the Reapers.

Re: Pandorum
The issue with the whole 'adapting to the ship' aspect of the story is it didn't exist for any reason beyond putting mechanical bits on otherwise feral humans. It added nothing, in my opinion. I honestly like the idea of a ship filled with people who's reverted to savagery because one person went mad and started playing God. But, I think that would have gone away from the "We're trapped in a big ship with stuff coming to eat us" vibe which is where the producers seemed to want it to go.
