root@pdf-only releases[hr] Here is a format that I would enjoy in a pdf only release:- Start with a fiction piece; the ones already published are the most effective introductions to the setting short of taking a class on transhumanism.
- After the fiction piece, present the characters in the fiction as NPCs, statted out for gamemaster use
- Similarly, any new setting, equipment, reputation network, or whatever that was presented in the fiction should be statted out
- Finish with a small summary which includes information on how much impact the story has on the rest of the setting
Now each pdf release is self-enclosed, and any new information is presented in context. Plus, the fiction makes the price of the pdf worth it, even if the buyer doesn't really care about the statted out parts.@-rep +1|c-rep +1|g-rep +1|r-rep +1]Me @ Penandpapergames.com
