I am well familiar with the transhumanist genre - from GURPS excellent Transhumanist game (which has been unfortunately somewhat abandoned with the switch to GURPS 4e) and from fiction. I can reccomend anything by Bruce Sterling - esp. Schismatrix Plus, Ken McLeod's Fall Revolution Series - esp. the Cassini Division, and much of Greg Bear's recent work including Slant, Tangent, and Moving Mars...
I am interested to know if this game will be game system compatible with Cthulhutech. And also I am interested in the possibility of storyline crossover between the two. Some toned-down elements would of Cthulhutech would seem to be ideal to pair with the horror elements of Eclipse Phase....
Ideas? Comments from the creators?

As other people already noted, Eclipse Phase and CthulhuTech use very different rules systems and are not designed to be system or setting compatible. The could be combined, of course, with some effort from the GM. There are some definite storyline parallels that could be tweaked, madness mechanics for both games, etc. The Framework system used by CT is a bit more complex than EP, so which one you use would depend on your play style. I'm not seeing an immediate easy conversion method, so it would probably require a fair bit of fudging. That said, there are some definite possibilities for facing cosmic horrors from beyond with an arsenal of transhuman technologies and functional immortality.
This is one of the many reasons we're doing Eclipse Phase under a Creative Commons (nc-by-sa) license, so that fans are free to invent homebrewed conversion projects like this and share them with others online. So if you do put together an EP-CT mashup, make sure to let us know!

Whereas CTech has well defined races and humanity, by default, is clinging to what makes it human, EP's H. Sapiens (Or rather, what became of us.) is in a constant state of flux. While both are facing nigh-extinction, the former is fighting on its home turn for survival while the other is fighting not only the forces that decimated it, but most of its core concepts, with mortality being thwarted by technology, identify being as fluid as you can afford it to be, and genetic marvels being the purview of more than your sworn enemy and invader.
But now, let's say one was to use on of the Pandora Gates, who knows what squamous, eldritch horrors might lurk among the spacial netherangles. : )
In short, the systems are not meant to work together, but certain concepts might well fit, if you're willing to rewrite the stats. Cheers!

Might be worth pointing out that CTech is not under the same license. I'm not sure how open-minded the CTech copyright owners are regarding that sort of thing. : )
