Can you make Replicator's

I'm completely new to the game and was wondering, is it possible to bring stargate replicators into Eclipse Phase, if so how. i have a basic understanding of the game ans rules so dont be afraid to use all the terms and jargon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Replicator_%28Stargate%29 for those of you not fimilar with the concept and before it comes up i am not wanting to make human form replicators

Going behind my back and asking the EP forums directly, for shame :p The way I am intending on doing this is simply custom little robots that are equipped with protean swarms an loaded with their own blueprint. Expensive, but they should do what you want them to.

OK but when shot can the remains of your little robots reform, and most importantly can they preform a multitude of tasks.

All you really need to do is have Protean Swarms making Protean Swarms. If you have enough onboard memory you could probably reprogram them or have a switch for the protean swarm to build something else, probably with other protean swarms. So you have the swarms turn everything it can into a swarm and when it reaches a certain critical mass it starts turning all the other stuff around them, including the other protean swarms into the desired structure. Eventually the swarm cannibalizes itself leaving behind only that thing you asked it to build.
