So I had this idea for a campaign set in the outer rim that would start with the Continuity scenario about a team of Firewall sentinels trying to make sense out of connected exsurgent attacks only to learn that the attacks are orchestrated by the infected Promethean known as Grendel. Grendel suffered minor infection during the Fall and while he didn't succumb to insanity like the TITANs, he was altered enough that his idea of how to benefit transhumanity is to act as an evolutionary force and push transhumanity to the brink of extinction with his own Fall. Inspired by this quote from the book he takes his name from:
“You improve them, my boy! Can’t you see that yourself? You stimulate them! You make them think and scheme. You drive them to poetry, science, religion, all that makes them what they are for as long as they last. You are, so to speak, the brute existent by which they learn to define themselves. The exile, captivity, death they shirk from—the blunt facts of their mortality, their abandonment—that’s what you make them recognize, embrace! You are mankind, or man’s condition: inseparable as the mountain-climber and the mountain.”
This would be my first EP campaign so I would like to know if this is a strong central idea to base a campaign on and some interesting ways to take this premise after the first adventure.

sounds fine to me...
lot of potential hooks there...
how do the other promethians react to this guy's twisted nature? how does the secrete cabal of Argonauts react (they have their own plans for transhumanity's evolution) what about the factors and ETIs, seems like a pretty standard firewall existential threat set up to me.
