Best Pre-Gens for One Shot
Hello Folks, I've volunteered to run a one-shot for Eclipse Phase for my local gamer Meet-Up community and I was thinking I would use Chain Reaction. Can anyone familiar with the adventure give a good mix of characters that would be appropriate? I'll likely only have 3-4 players with the possibility of 5. I'd just like some input on which templates would work best for a well rounded group that will also show off the diversity of EP well. Any help is greatly appreciated. JoS.

Not the quickstart rules
I had an adverse experience in running the "Mind the WMD" adventure from the quickstart rules. One major reason was that the characters provided have no networking rules- I improvised them on the spot, but that combined with other oddities of the characters (like an anarchist saboteur in an expensive morph not having medichines) made the game harder to run than it had to be.

Pregen Recommendations
Hi, I love sample characters and pregens, so when I wrote Chain Reaction, I made sure to include a list of those pregens I thought would work well. It is in the synopsis section of the adventure. From the main book and Sunward, I suggest the following characters (and some notes on them, from my fuzzy recollections): Barsoomian Freelance Journalist Criminal Hacker Extropian Smuggler Hypercorp Black Marketeer Mercurial Investigator Ultimate Mercenary Martian Ranger Oversight Auditor Triad Soldier Some Note: 1. The Extropian Smuggler has a plane that you might want to swap out for something else since Olympus is a no fly zone. 2. The Triad Soldier needs to decide which triad they are part of since that makes a difference. 3. Make sure you have one or two investigation type characters and one or two combat type characters and any grouping of the above should be fine. 4. I would though recommend against having both the Mercurial Investigator AND the Criminal Hacker. Hope that helps :)
