Just to be sure: do characters get any bonus CP from their background disadvantages?

No. Disadvantages to
No. Disadvantages to factions, backgrounds & morphs are intended to be self-balancing.

Note that you can buy off some disadvantages with positive traits (e.g., Second Skin for overcoming morph restrictions).

Heard some Morph Restrictions were supposed to be removed...which ones were those? Beyond the HyperElite and Gliteratti ones?
