262 habitable worlds by Kepler Telescope
New results from Kepler telescope indicate that it discovered 262 potentially habitable worlds. It's worth remembering that some of them won't make it out of candidate stage(but on the other hand Warm Jovians that have possible Earth-like moons aren't counted either) http://phl.upr.edu/press-releases/mygoditsfullofplanetstheyshouldhavesen... Remember also that due to methods only a small number of planets among the stars could be detected. Fermi Paradox becomes more and more intriguing...

The Fermi paradox is an actual paradox only if there actually isn't an alien presence in local space. We don't know our own solar system nearly well enough to properly exclude that possibility.

Strictly speaking (pet peeve warning) it is not a paradox, but a question. It should be the "Fermi question". What makes it feel like a paradox is that nearly any possible answer to it is awesome, unsettling and weird.
