[1E] Flexible, multi-morph character sheet for Google Sheets
Hello everyone, I have been running and playing games of EP for a while, and I have been developing a character sheet blank for my own purposes. I have decided to share this here in case it helps anyone else. Version 1.241 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19o9sMzjbBpDfx4oNGHyngQ3oyAbnQu22... This grew out of an accounting table I made in order to keep track of character point expenditures; from there I implemented a skills table, and then I kept refining it until it became what it is now. It does not have any pre-defined equipment or anything else like that from the books, which means that on one hand it is more flexible with regard to house rules, but on the other it is much harder to build a character on the fly without cross-referencing with the books. It is a little scattered - it is spread across multiple pages - and it may be slow to update, but it has so far suited my purposes fairly well. The colored cells are the ones meant for input. Copies downloaded as a Microsoft Word XLSX document should work too; the only thing it seemed to break is the ability to recolor the sheet dynamically. Character points are summed up on the sheet titled CP Expenditures. I originally had a "CP Remaining" counter on the Quick Reference page; I can restore that if there is demand for that. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Update 1.04 - dice roller
Update 1.04: I am in the process of adding a dice roller page to the sheet, to make it a little easier to play using this sheet, without having to cross-reference as much. Currently, the dice roller has a generic 1d10, a generic d%, a skill / aptitude test roller, an initiative roller, and a damage calculator. Because the rest of the sheet does not have any dependencies to this dice roller page, it can be copied directly into existing sheets. Again, feedback is welcomed.

Update 1.05 - more robust skill table
Update 1.05: Skills table is now more robust, with the CP sums for active and knowledge skills now relying on the value in the Keyword column, rather than hard-coded row numbers. Notably, this means that the sheet should now properly calculate values for arbitrarily many custom skills.

Gear as favors
I'm going to have a look at this one, try it out. I've yet to check out the sheet. One thing I found lacking with the sheet I currently use for character gen is the ability to later use favors to purchase equipment. I found it necessary to add money to the sheet in order to spend it for the gear I got via called in favors.

My sheet tracks favors on the Ego sheet, and there is a sizeable comment section wherein you could indicate the source of something that was obtained by means other than CP, Rez, or credits. I am not entirely sure how I'd want to do the bookkeeping for something like that, though. I suppose I could add a column for cost in favors, where acceptable values look something like "@ 1" for a trivial @-Rep favor, but that might be a bit of a pain to implement and might not be user-friendly. ...hm. Maybe I should put a favors log under the Psi list on the Ego page. That might do it.

Update 1.06 - favors list
Update 1.06: The Ego page now has a Favors list. This means that the Favors Owed column is now calculated rather than maintained by hand. Favors can be bought at the bottom of the Ego page, and can be paid back by putting an X in the relevant column, removing them from the bought-favors count. I am not quite sure if this is how it should work, but I personally am going to try this for now. Burning Rep will still have to be handled by hand. (Also, sorry for the double posts in this thread. Went to fold this one into the previous comment retroactively, but could not delete this one.) This may be one of the last few revisions before I fork this sheet to make a version for Second Edition.

Update 1.10 - UX fix for AGI skill bonuses/penalties
Update: Version 1.10. This is a major revision, but not a critical one. This version changes the way the AGI bonus/penalty to skills works, so that the CP column is consistently the number of ranks bought, and not the total amount of CP spent. This was done for ease-of-use reasons. Calculations should come out the same way once corrected. This update should be considered non-critical, because the old calculations were equally correct, just done differently.

Update 1.2 - Major layout updates
Update: Version 1.2. This is a major revision, but you should be fine to keep using copies of the pre-existing sheet format. That said, here are the new changes:
 • Moved things around on the Quick Reference page a bit.
 • Put boxes around everything to make things clearer.
 • Made it so that earned Money and Rez go on the Advancement & Career page (formerly Rez Expenditures). There is also now a tally of total Rez and Money earned in the campaign.
 • Hid the aptitude chart on the Skills table, and froze the heading and expenditure total so that it will always be visible.
 • Added timestamp fields to Chargen Accounting page (formerly CP Expenditures) and Advancement & Career page (formerly Rez Expenditures). These are technically only necessary on the Advancement & Career page, but they might come in handy if one builds a character over an extended period of time.
 • Made the character info boxes on the Ego page a little less cramped.
 • Added a separate information page, and moved the built-in change log there.

I am updating the sheet linked to in the first page to the latest version each time, rather than making a new copy each time. If you want back-dated versions, I can probably dig through the version history and acquire them.

Nah, it's fine, just that the text above the link still claims it's the 1.03 version.
