even with the signal delay inherent in a orbital location, i would guess one could send up one of these, and have a guy operate from ground wearing head tracking glasses and a set of feedback gloves. or have the same person record a step by step sequence on a mockup on the ground, and then play it back on the bot in space. This in much the same way as the mars rovers have been operating, iirc. thats pretty much what they are talking about for car plants and similar also. i wonder what effect that will have on the job situation and economy. The money to buy cars or similar have to come from somewhere, and iirc, ford allowed his workers to buy a car as a down payment while working at his plant. The problem is that the economists of the corporations focus on efficiency within the corporations, but do not take a step back to look at the larger picture. The worker of one corporation is most likely the customer of multiple other corporations and vice versa. End result is something of a closed loop.
