Firewall and backup insurance
Probably already touched upon in the rules, but I can't seem to find it for the life of me. It's regarding Firewall and Backup insurance. Far as I understand, all chars start with 1 month worth of Backup insurance. I've got few questions regarding that: 1) Aren't the starting chars sentinels? Or do they start non-Firewall'd? 2) If they are, or if they become, how does Backup insurance then gets taken care of? I remember reading that Firewall keeps the backups (also for interrogation purposes *shudder*) and tries to get a hold of chars' stacks. Does that then mean that sentinels don't have to pay for BI? Or do they pay Firewall? 2a) Related to above, justification of going after sentinels' stacks is the info about Firewall, right? Well, the question is, does Firewall go after them only when they're on missions, or even during chars' time off? It would seem the same justification holds, so.... Maybe burn i-rep for the favor, at least?

Firewall's backup insurance is special. While it is free, you can only utilize it if you die on Firewall's time. It's just like all Firewall resources; unless you are on a Firewall mission, they will likely refuse you the chance to use it. Having normal backup insurance is a good thing if you live a risky life outside of Firewall. The one exception [i]might[/i] be your cortical stack's retrieval, but it would likely cost you a favor... and there's no particular incentive for them to reinstantiate you if you are a security risk from dying off-duty all the time. Do note that Firewall agents with high rep might be able to get backup insurance with Firewall for free. It'd be a privilege for doing good work for the organization (and would cost a moderate favor monthly, and happen with no roll required for Firewall agents with 80+ rep).
