About a year ago I finished reading Ken MacLeod's "Newton's Wake" and found myself thinking, "Wouldn't it be cool to run/play a game in that setting with the PCs as explorers using the wormhole gates left behind by the hard take-off Singularity or braving the nanoswarm-infested ruins of Earth?" Turns out I don't have to wonder anymore, because Mr. Boyle, et al, have created that setting, and so much more. The list of fiction used as inspiration covers about 75% of my reading list over the last five years. Reading through the corebook it's like you've taken my favorite ideas from all the Transhuman/Singularity fiction I've read and combined them into a single, incredibly rich game setting. Bravo, I say.
Ahem, I don't normally gush like that. :shy:
Now I just need to find someone willing to GM it.

Re: Thank You!
Could always GM a few games yourself, and inspire others to follow your lead. :)

I did it thirty-five minutes ago."

Re: Thank You!
Just started a new Shadowrun game a couple months ago. Perhaps unsurprisingly, three of my players have similar tastes in SF, so I'm hoping to get one of them to run EP concurrent with my SR game.
