Couple of questions regarding balancing my campaign
The players began in Mars and after a couple of adventures they moved to the Saturn system, in a minor anarchic / reclaimer habitat. Now we already played more than a few sessions with this set-up, and while the game goes fine, I worry that I may have made the pc lives easier than it should be. I mostly am uncertain about the facilities I have placed in such a small habitat (about 40 inhabitants). The habitat has resleeving, morph storage and ego storage facilities. Im unter the impression that the significance of backup insurances has been very much reduced, as players who are killed in a far away mission will have their backups restored in the habitat. Is any (or all) of those facilities "too much" for a small habitat? Also, would a Titanian backup insurance microcorp accept a contract from a minor anarchic group and if so in what currency will they be paid? What kind of insurance do anarchists living in secluded autonomist habitats usually have? Finaly, I had my players discover a Pandora gate in Triton, but it is contested by the Ultimates. They want to bring in another "major player" to help them deal with the Ultimates. How much would the Consortium, or the Titanians would invest in such a remote Pandora Gate? I mean should the news of a new Gate bring forces from all over the solar system?

So the @hab would pay the Commonwealth corp in @Rep which would then be converted into the Commonwealth monopoly money. As for what kind of insurance they have in general? Well I would say most flavors of @s dont. Commonwealth probably has insurers and the Extropians do. As for Pandora Gates. Everyone wants as many as they can get their hands on. The players wont have a choice. The longer this standoff goes on, the more and more parties will try to get ahold of it. Everyone. Firewall, Osma, PC, LLA, Morning Star, everyone. Its so far out there even the Brinkers might stop their feuding, binging on their literal moonshine and and try to make a go for it. Cause the Brinkers are already at Neptune.

I assumed that the Commonwealth's transactions with off-Titan habs, as well as with Consortium members would be in credits. I probably assumed wrong. How would - in game terms - the players "pay" their monthly fee for insurance in rep though? Something in the lines of "your 4th level @ favor is permanently used up as an upkeep for your insurance?". Also do you think Im giving out too much with having the hab having resleeving and morph / ego storage facilities?

Eh, it's easy to handwave
Eh, it's easy to handwave having a morph storage depot. It's cultivated a good reputation as a regional brokerage, was set up by a local who ended up with more creds than he knew what to do with etc. As for the favour, lots of ways you could play it. I'd say that they have to keep claiming the favour though, if they want to maintain the backup. Yeah, it means you can't keep getting [expensive] stuff all the time. That's the nature of not being a dick to your community...
