I don't think so, it says it
I don't think so, it says it does it automatically without a psychosurgery test.

I wouldn't require the player
I wouldn't require the player to make a test. Save the dice rolls for something important like drama and tension. It is also not the only augment that grants extra actions, so keep that in mind when thinking how it should be balanced to other augments. I don't know why it doesn't require stress tests. If you wanted to enforce it, maybe enforce 1 or 2 points of stress per hour of use.

I think part of the whole
I think part of the whole merging and forking stress comes from dealing with different bodies, experiences, and environments. With multi-tasker augmentations, most of the egos' experiences will be nigh-identical, so while there's probably some memory confusion as far as having two memories of things from "different angles", you probably won't see extreme issues. My hypothesis would be that someone might have minor issues while first adjusting to the augmentation, but these would be more associated with a short term penalty, rather than stress or reintegration, and then they would get used to the idea of remembering things twice or having merged memories.

They may not even have
They may not even have different angles since they share eyes of the morph, it would just be slightly odd to have thrice the memory of an hour long period, but that happens for our regular meat brains all the time when you feel like time is crawling along and an hour feels like three (or reversely, three hours feel like an hour). So having these sub-forks running concurrently is mostly just a division of brainpower to speed up mental actions for the user.
