Ok brand new player her saw a lot of the stuff on DriveThru RPG and it got me interested so I bought the Rulebook but I do have a question. Looking to pick up some PDF's and I am wondering what exactly is part of the different Hack Packs that is different from the base product such as the stuff for Firewall?

It's been a while, but the Hack Packs tend to have art from the book; the Sunward Hack Pack, for instance, includes .psd files of the chapter openings (partially flattened to two layers; one for a Creative Commons disclaimer text, and one for the image itself) and both a print friendly .pdf and both print friendly and original .ai versions of the Inner System map.

You want the hack packs if
You want the hack packs if you want to make books that look as fancy as the original books, or if you want to look at the pretty pictures. They don't carry rules. Just artwork.
At least that is my understanding as I haven't tried to do much with the files when I've nabbed them.

yep the hack packs contain only artwork except firewalls which has the new sample characters ready for singularity import. gota say i was hoping more from the firewall hack pack... i was expecting more images and there were only png files no PSD or AI sources

We moved to providing
We moved to providing transparent PNG files because it was requested. They're otherwise identical to the PSD files that previous hack packs had.
Some Hack Packs also have files that we used in the creation of the books; like the Gatecrashing one has an OmniGraffle file that we used to compile the map of the gates, the GM Screen has InDesign files so people can create custom screens, etc.
