Playing EP Games Online
I'm looking for a few GMs to help me build a small community of EP games that will happen on roll20 (which is an online virtual table top). I myself, GM exclusively, but I want to start a google group, that will have a healthy ratio of players and GMs, like 5-6 players per 1 GM, to develop a system of pickup games, or even serialized sessions and stories. We would use a google drive folder to share Tokens, Maps, and Map Assets. Basically new GMs would start by getting access to my huge library of stuff to start running games. We'd use a google sites page as a wiki to track ongoing events, player journals, etc, to keep everything tied together. The GMs would communicate, within that smaller circle, on what kinds of stories they were trying tell, and share information with each other. Basically the GMs work together to carve out an instance of an EP shared universe, basically like a writing team for a TV show. Player's could come and go, but there would be a healthy supply of players, I've never had trouble filling a group, even on short notice. Ideally, I'm looking for 2 other GMs, that either know EP, or want to get to know it and can commit to running 1-2 games per month. I'm starting with recruiting GMs, and then when we have those, players are really easy to find. Let me know if any GMs are interested. I'm also happy to run some exclusive games for potential GMs.

I like this pyramid-scheme-of
I like this pyramid-scheme-of-getting-people-to-GM notion, and might toss my hat into that ring. Seems like this thread should really be in the registry subforum though.

Probably right. But if you want to start some initial conversations about it, PM me an email address and we'll take it offline.

There seems to be interest
There seems to be interest for this from GMs on roll20. PM me if there is any interest here. This is basically an organized play system for online Eclipse Phase. And to be honest it was sparked by my inconsistency, in being able to regularly schedule games for my EP players. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1665087/eclipse-phase-shared-universe/... https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cOQGKirFqVJx0lqgDtSHV5Ot9eleRxK3rQ4z...

Yes but
I love the idea, but I can barely understand roll20's interface. I could be a player but not a GM.

If the issue really is roll20
If the issue really is roll20, then I'd be more than happy to do a tutorial, specifically on best practices from running EP on roll20. Sounds like a good idea anyways. But if you have an aversion to GMing, or atleast compared to playing, then, I'll be sure to let you know when we start inviting players.

I'd love the chance to get in
I'd love the chance to get in on this, though my experience actually GMing and playing Eclipse Phase is fairly limited (I ran through most of Glory with my home group, and I was in a short-lived play-by-post that collapsed from GM fatigue.) My Roll20 experience is also a bit limited, but I've figured out how to make it work for the most part.

Player, here!
Hello, I'm a long-time fan of Eclipse Phase, and a Transhuman Kickstart supporter. I love roll20.net, and I'm looking for a group. I'm up to play anytime :)
Who are we, but slaves to our own personal interests?

We're closing in on a final
We're closing in on a final draft for the Guide. This project has basically become a micro organized play model for EP, using roll20 as our public space, instead of a game store. The GMs I've been working with seem pretty dedicated. It looks like we'll have 4-5 ready to GM games by late March or early April. At this point we're working on a metaplot idea that will thread through (not dominate) the different GM's games. I'm running a game for GMs March 24th which will kick it off and then we'll start recruiting other players for various games at various time zones right around then. The idea is that each GM is submitting a paragraph or two about each of their scenarios. We workshop them together. Players can jump around from game to game as convenient (if there are open seats). GMs are also sharing resources (maps, tokens, sounds) in order to create a more-or-less standardized experience for players. We hope that no matter which game a player gets into, they can carry their expectations and understanding of the rules and find a level of consistency that is conducive to quickly getting into the game. Stay tuned!

GMing
I'd love to be able to GM more Eclipse Phase, but because of my work schedule I seldom have the free time to plot out more than a short mini-adventure in advance. This, working within the framework of a larger collaborative narrative, appeals to me. I am potentially interested. Let me consider whether I can set aside time for one or two games per month, every month.

The idea is that this would
The idea is that this would help reduce prep time for GMs (or replace it with joint planning that GMs work together on). You might just be able to use a scenario developed by another GM, as well as campaign maps, NPCs, etc. Or riff off their ideas, etc. We also hope to standardize the experience, a little bit. Eclipse Phase is a very dense game world, but if we can help form a similar set of experiences within the player base, it will be easier to jump right into a scenario. GMs are still free to "do what they want", but there will be a base in which to work from that's more defined that what is in the books. Basically, maybe we can just help focus the experience, a little bit.

I'd definitely be interested
I'd definitely be interested in finding out more; I've run local games, and had high hopes for Roll20, but found its interface pretty tough to figure out.

We hope that what we're working on will solve part of this issue. If you don't have fundamental issues with GMing online, we can help with campaign, map, npc set up and all that jazz. The idea is to not have to duplicate work, and also be inspired by what other GMs are working on (and use it). PM your email if you want discuss it further. We've got a great team forming, and now we're really trying to find GMs that are excited about the world building aspect, or the narrative aspects of the game, to help flesh out the metaplot.
