Problem with Kubuntu 14.10 and Singularity
When I try to run Singularity on Kubuntu 14.10 (Plasma 5 version), I get the following error:
Quote:
./Singularity: error while loading shared libraries: libX11.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
OK, no problem! I'll just install the library, right?
Quote:
sudo apt-get install libX11-6 Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done libx11-6 is already the newest version.
OK, I'm officially out of ideas. Is Singularity looking somewhere hard-coded for this library that Ubuntu no longer stores it or something? I can give it a symlink if I know where to put the file...
