Buying skills in character creation.
Just want to make sure I understand things. I'm sorry if this has been mentioned else where.. For costs for buying skills Aptitudes count toward the total so they are calculated in for when you reach the 60pt barrier for skill points doubling in cost. But for the aptitudes used in this step is it just the base or are the max's for your morph and total morph bonuses taken into account?

Skill breakdown: 1. Figure

Skill breakdown:
1. Figure out your base aptitudes.
2. Add all skill bonuses from your background and faction.
3. Buy skill ranks. (ex. if your SOM is 10, a 40 in blades costs 30 points. A 50 costs 10, a 60 costs 20, a 65 costs 30, a 70 costs 40, a 75 costs 50 an 80 costs 60, and you can't buy more than that. For the rest of this example, assume we bought an 80 in baldes.)(You should spend 400 points on active and 300 on passive in this way.)
4. Calculate morph bonuses and possible penalties. (Say we're in a fury morph. They have +10 to SOM naturally, for a total of 20 SOM, which would give us a Blades of 90. Install 2x Cyberlimb plus, total SOM 30, and blades is now a 99, that being the upper limit. Installing muscular augmentation gives SOM 10+25, 35 which is more than the morph supports, and wouldn't change any of the above.)(Penalties won't be a factor for most morphs, but a base score of 30 COO in a flat morph will give you a -10 to Beam Weapons.)

This is the system as I understand it.

"Note that any aptitude or skill bonuses provided by the morph are applied after all CP are spent. In other words, these bonuses do not affect the costs of buying aptitude and skill points during character generation."
