Hello All, I am in the process of coming up with a random generator to create some ideas for me for a game based on Mars - which has lots of "old west" feels to it (from Sunward) . I am looking to create a generator that generates a random place name. This could be anything from a town name (Scum habs, etc) to random pub names (EL Destino Verde anyone? ;) ) Without having to re-invent the wheel, does anyone know of a decent random place generator that isnt pure fantasy related? Im thinking I might have to come up with a few things myself, but if you dont know of any generators, (or websites), can you list a few place names that you have either used, or might be good for random one-horse-towns? SO far A generated adventure might look like: Location: Mars - New Pittsburgh Destination: secret Anarchist base Detail: PC's are asked by local roustabout in a Sylph morph, to rescue their lover in a Olympian morph, Location: Martian Trojans - Elyssian Fields Destination: secret Jovian base Detail: PC's are begged by firewall sentinel to retrieve information from rival Venusian Location: Martian Trojans - Elyssian Fields Destination: surface road, isolated Detail: PC's are begged by publican in a Dragonfly morph, to retrieve information from rival Venusian Location: Martian Trojans - Introspect Destination: Detail: PC's need to get publican in a Bouncer morph, to retrieve an object and destroy it to prevent my faction from using it against Anarchist (faction) Stuff like that. SOme doesnt make sense (I got a person in a dragonfly morph who is a member of the Ultimates...... but I can igore those)
