This question hit me after looking at the awesome Eclipse Phase character generation site. I'm curious what the absolute *best* character creation tool is. Well, okay, that's hard to quantify - maybe the best one you've ever seen or used. It has to be a program - an excel spreadsheet, or an application - and it can't just be a clever method of doing it by hand on a pencil-and-paper sheet. I guess in particular I'm curious if such things exist for more complicated, wide-spanning games like Shadowrun or Pathfinder. I remember there was a lovely old 3.5 one I used to use.
