Are there any details about the movie? What technology will be used? Is it going to be an animation, or a "real" film?

I vote for Ghost in the Shell-style anime, as it would be the cheapest and it has the smallest chances to end up as a silly Z-class movie, which could happen with actors and/or low-budget special effects.
