TITAN busting
anybody remember the name of the milcorp or paramil group that had the elite titan buster company, medals and powered armor? I think they were Martians,,, not sure.

TITAN BUSTER A Barsoomian collective fights the good fight against the remnants of the TITAN presence in the TQZ on Mars. In order to bolster recruitment, the collective rewards fighters who survive six months of active service with a TITAN Buster morph—either a fury or reaper morph with specialized unit decals tattooed or etched on the skin of the morph, plus a notification throughout the autonomist social networks of the character’s achievement. TITAN Busters enjoy positive modifiers when making Social Skill Tests against autonomists or characters with a grudge against the TITANs. Characters that earn the TITAN Buster morph but have to egocast to another habitat may modify another fury or reaper morph to show the TITAN Buster unit decals (a Low cost bodysculpt). Any character that is caught posing as a TITAN Buster without putting in the time is likely to get a flood of negative pings from the @-rep network.
I don't recall seeing any more of this faction you are looking for. This faction seems (to me at least) to have been written up as background material for a type of variant morphs. I'm not sure if any other mention of it exists at this time.

yeah that was it...
I'm building a NPC, sort of a Kurt Russell "solder" type, I remembered that scene in the movie where his tattoos showed the campaigns he was in and remembered reading 187 (ahem) above.

I think the only perk being a TITAN buster gives you is to be able to boast about it (customizing your morphs to show it with a tatoo). This could explain high levels of REP, TITAN-related knowledge, and some skills (or even being an Async: you were infected during a mission). So yeah, fluff and fun.

This could have significant roleplaying effects, too. If someone suspects TITAN activity and doesn't know who to turn to, the TITAN-hunting veteran probably is a good choice. Should help lend credibility to an offer to help local authorities with whatever problem they have (though your presence might spark panic if TITAN activity is already rumored as people might think you were called in for your skill-set).

Not to mention a bunch of details much more interesting: TITAN infectees can be very smart, so they might go for the identified threat first... Or we could have a poisseur in the middle of a sudden situation, or... Anyway, it is a good backgrond detail that justifies certain skillsets, being a member of Firewall, and a niche in certain types of missions.
