Starting Morphs for Re-Instantiated Oversight Candidates
My next game is going to be about a group of freshly re-instantiated folks with amnesia (easier for my poor players that way) who are being felt out as potential Oversight candidates. They'll get a lovely corporate treatment, with contracts to the various PC hypercorps (Experia will likely make someone a star, Direct Action will make a grab for the shooty types, etc) and a gentle descent into the horrors of Eclipse Phase. With luck, this campaign will last long enough to go Ozma; no Firewall here, folks. But what should I offer for starting morphs? Pods are clearly out of the question, as would simple Splicers or those dreadful synthmorphs. I don't want them sprinting about in Furies, either, which has me feeling comfortable with the 40 CP range: Sylph, Menton, Olympian. Any ideas as for what else to implement?

Why don't you have the PCs
Why don't you have the PCs running around with Furies and other quality morph. I know you said you didn't want them running around with that stuff, but Oversight would have the money to burn wouldn't they? If I recall correctly, they're funded by the Planet Consortium which would mean they should be loaded with money, and could "persuade" the various the various hypercorps under their rule to be cooperative and offer good deals. I don't think that money or gear should be an issue (unless they try to over spend that is).

I'm planning on doing the same thing
I dont expect my players to hammer down 400 pages of fluff as I have, many arent even sci-fi fans... I'm thinking of putting some other reason why they would be together and very valueable to the hypercorps/factions, a reason they dont even suspect initially... like maybe their not really re-instantiated, they were active transhumans with many connections and achivements but they've been brain wiped back to when they were originally re-instantiated and were supposed to be broken up but some rogue hacker/psychosurgon added some drive to remain in contact with eachother. (maybe each one has some subconcious key to unlocking some coded super titan tech)
"what do I want? The usual — hundreds of grandchildren, complete dominion over the known worlds, and the pleasure of hearing that all my enemies have died in highly improbable accidents that cannot be connected to me."

Yes,EP does claim horror as one of it's genres. Put them in the best morphs available. Arm them to the teeth. Let them know that they are badasses. Then send them out to gruesome and painful death. After that resleeve them in less impressive morphs, give them less impressive weapons and send them out and watch them quake.
