Questions - Utilitools & Wrist mounted tools
A few details have been bugging me for a while now. First, a possible typo. The Utilitool (core rulebook, p. 326) mentions that it provides a +10 modifier to certain tests. However on (core rulebook, p. 208 - 209), it mentions that when repairing things, utilitools provides a +20 modifier. I think thats a little inconsistent. Which modifier bonus is it? Second, (assuming for a moment that utilitools give a +10 bonus) I'm wonder why wrist mounted tools (+20 mod) give a bigger bonus than utilitools on tests. They are similar pieces of technology are they not? They both provide a bonus to the same tests, and they both use nanomachines to form tools right, so I'm kinda wondering why the bonuses are different. Thirdly, can you remove wrist mounted tools? Technically they are nanoware, but in one of the adventure books, it out right lists wrist mounted tools as though it were a piece of equip-able gear. You can find this under "gear and equipment" (Continuity, p. 8*). *pages 7-8 if you prefer using the landscape version instead of portrait version.

I assume that the +20 bonus
I assume that the +20 bonus for a utilitool on page 209 is a typo and assume that the modifier written in the actual description of the gear takes precedence. Wrist mounted tools have a better bonus because; You have a pair of them, and they're bigger, and they are implanted allowing direct mental control. "a 6 centimeter wide metal band containing nanobot generators implanted around each wrist." (p. 309) The utilitool is only the size of a ballpoint pen. You cannot remove wrist mounted tools they are implanted nanotech.
