Good news keeps on coming on the extrasolar planet front ;)
French sources starting up that the system has 5 planets including probable Super Earth within habitable zone.
Will have to wait some more hours for confirmation.

The Planetary Habitability Lab also suggest Tau Ceti f might be a candidate, maybe a more plausible candidate--e could easily be a Venus-like world, while a greenhouse effect on f would give it a relatively Earth-like climate.

Three more things.
1. Is it possible that there might be smaller planets between e and f? e at ~0.55 AU and f at ~1.35 are widely separated, and the lowest-mass planet picked up is 2 Earth masses orbiting close to Tau Ceti. It's a coincidence, I'm sure, that the space between e and f is basically Tau Ceti's habitable zone ... How stable would the system be with an Earth-mass planet orbiting at 0.7 AU?
2. Moons. Large moons? The method used doesn't distinguish between, say, Tau Ceti f at 6.6 Earth masses and Tau Ceti f plus its Earth-sized moon at 6.6 Earth masses, right?
3. Perhaps we should just wait a year. By then, we should have the live Twitter feeds up and running. ;-)
