Just a quick question on the favor mechanics:
Let's say (hypothetically; spherical cows in a fictionless vacuum and all that) that I have a character with rep level four and an open bank of favors for each level through High favors and I've got a shopping list of stuff I want to get and I need them fast. However, most of what I want to get is Low or Moderate price, but I've got close to a dozen items on my little list.
So I get the first Low value item using my level 2 favor, and then I get the first Moderate value item using my level 3 favor. I'm still sitting on a level 1 favor and a level 4 favor. Now, normally, I'd have to wait an hour for the Level 2 favor to refresh and a week for the level 3 favor to refresh.
Now, if I'm reading this right, if I do a favor, let's say level 2, for someone else, my level 2 favor will refresh immediately and I can go out and get my next Low cost item. Is that correct?
Now, what if I'm still sitting on that Level 4 High Favor? Stuff with a High cost tends to be worth five times the cost of a Moderate item; would it be possible and workable to also use my High level favor to acquire five of the Moderate level items at once as a combined favor?
This has the disadvantage of using up my high level favor, which I may end up needing later, but really helps when I'm on a time limit--if I have that shopping list of a dozen items and I need them all within the next 36 hours, acquiring them one at a time will take 5 weeks or so as the favor refreshes normally or require me to burn rep (not an attractive thought) or require me to go out and do favors for other people to get the favor refreshed, which may also not be a good idea, depending on the circumstances.
So, less tl;dr: is it possible to use up a higher level favor to acquire multiple items of a lower cost bracket at once? And what repercussions might this have for gameplay?
Also, do favors refresh faster than their listed refresh rate when the character goes out and does more favors for others?
