Hi all! I've started a channel on the Magicstar IRC network for general conversation about Eclipse Phase.
For those of you who use IRC already it's #EclipsePhase on the Magicstar network. For those of you who don't use IRC already, point your web-browser to www.mibbit.com, then click on "Chat Now". Select "Magicstar" from the drop-down list of servers (where it says Connect) and put your name in the "Nick" box and #EclipsePhase in the "Channel" box.
By the magic of the intertubes you should then be connected to the relevant channel.
It'll be good to see you there!

Hi all, just a quick note for those of you who popped in when the channel was pretty dead... It's new and it will take us a while to establish a large enough user base that there's someone to talk with at all times. Don't give up! If you can, leave yourself logged in and soon we'll get conversation going more regularly.
We were pretty active from 9am to 5pm GMT yesterday and hopefully as more users join the busy time will grow.

That's certainly viable. The channel is 24/7 but obviously has peaks and troughs in activity plus is newly established so doesn't have a large crowd of regulars yet. If you'd like to set a time for a mass log-on that'd be great. Just let us know here and I'll put it in the channel's topic so people know it's coming.
