Likely Consequences for Info-Assault in an Anarchist Community?
I'm running the adventure "Glory" for my Eclipse Phase group, and the hacker AGI decided that the best way to get in contact with Morteza Bey was to get into a "hacker duel" with him - specifically, hacking his mesh implants. Now, he was good enough to run a trace on her before going offline, and knows who she is. He's sure to try to get someone who owes him a favor to confront her, but I'm not totally sure what the sort of response would be considered "appropriate" on Locus. Any suggestions?

I don't have the module but it depends on the general "mood" of the community and the person involved. If they're hard-bitten, they'll likely send someone to break the other hacker's kneecaps. If they're forgiving, they might just send them to observe and do some background work. If they have something to hide, they're probably more likely the former than anything.

In this case, for cinematic effect, I might recommend making it an eye-for-eye affair, and have Morteza hack into their inserts himself, or have an ally do it for him. This could also be a means of having a meeting occur. After all, I'd like to meet whoever had the cajones to hack into my system.

Mmmm... right now I'm not sure (I can barely remember Glory's characters XD). If Bey was the one who made the ultra-flat synthmorph and has been secluded inside his own mini-habitat for a long time, I'd say that he would call for somebody to do some scarecrow job (then again, I'd say he was running in "autistic mode", considering what was inside his computers). If Bey was in the habitat physically assaulted by the Glory drones, then I'd bet for a traumathized response totally out of proportion, as a balm for a wounded ego, but without external help.

Thank you everyone! As it so happens, Bey did in fact manage to counter-hack Al3ph (the AGI in question) during the "hacker duel", but a more careful follow-up hack on the mesh of the PC's base of operations seems like it would be a good idea.
