Some NASA Artistic Renderings
I know that this might not be the best place for this kind of thing, but it was either here or Offtopic. So during my daily trawl of Reddit I came across a nice little website from NASA that has fairly high quality images of some artistic renderings of space stations from the 70's. Thought a fair few might perform well as an EP handout. They aren't perfect, and a few look a bit dated, but have at it. http://settlement.arc.nasa.gov/70sArt/art.html

Beautiful. What ever happened to the 70s anyway?

Of all past-futures, I love those of the 70's most. This is the kind of artwork I grew up transfixed by (even though I wasn't actually alive in the decade, for some reason -probably Star Wars- we had tons of 70's sci-fi art in my house). The amazing concepts and incredible feats of engineering, fantasies borne on post-Apollo optimism. And yet everything still looks ridiculously 70's - really, will cylinder habs ever likely co-exist with bad suburban stucco housing, shit-brown corduroy bellbottoms and humongous afros?
