Forking Process, the (Basic questions about)
Hiyas! About the Forking Process: (Kindly point me please to the right direction, if I'm missing stuff... I'm quite confused!) All I've read about it states that Alpha forking does not require any dice rolls (ruleswise) at all. Is this true? Also, when one of my players tells me he/she is forking, what's the procedure (in game)? THANKS!!!! SF

Re: Forking Process, the (Basic questions about)
You'll find this on p273. "An alpha fork may be created by copying and running an infomorph (from a backup, infomorph, synthmorph cyberbrain, or a removed cortical stack in an ego bridge). Alpha forks may be generated from biomorph brains using an ego bridge and the same process as uploading (p. 268). […] New alpha forks must make an Alienation Test (p. 272), and possibly a Continuity Test (p. 272) if copied from a backup."
