On Sunward.165, it's stated that the Planned Obsolescence trait requires biomorphs afflicted with it to get Genetic Service Packs every three months to avoid icky things happening. That cost is given as 10% of the cost of the biomorph in question.
In the optional rule sidebar on Sunward.166, it's stated that a ruster with the Planned Obsolescence trait has a cost of High (rather than Expensive).
Is the 10% cost of GSPs based on a ruster price of High or a price of Expensive? A 1500 credit difference hangs in the balance. I'm not absolutely sure but lean toward the higher cost -- if only to keep biomorphs with Planned Obsolescence from opening a door to major cost savings; that is to say, I think that a negative trait should be a significant drawback and not free money.
...Of course the question is obviated if that optional rule isn't used.
But if so, as well: should biomorphs other than rusters have a similar, one-level cost reduction if they are afflicted with Planned Obsolescence? Biomorphs other than rusters (including pods and uplifts) can have it, too, after all.

[hr] The criminal gangs have a much better form of planned obsolescence: pay up or get your morph's knees smashed. What? It's obsolete if you can't walk anymore, right?@-rep +1
