Sunward: Available in Print?
I noticed on the releases section of this website the date for Sunward is September 1 and two of the online RPG stores I use have listed as for sale, but I have not seen any official announcement about its release. So is it available in print now or is there a mistake somewhere?

There have been a few announcements in various places. The releases page on this site has the release date on it, though it only has a link to the PDF purchase.

Both Sunward and the GM Screen shipped for a street date of September 1st; stores should have it in stock now.

It is in stock at least in Infinity Games UK, since i've recieved notification both for it and for Sunward. You (hopefully) don't see me, but I'm doing the happy dance right now :)

For any interested, copies have arrived in the DC Metropolitan area. At least one copy has been viewed at the Woodbridge, VA Game Parlor but how long it will remain un-purchased is up for debate.

Amazon has it listed for both publishers...old one is out and new one listed as an Oct release. Am I missing another listing or don't they have it yet?

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
I recently purchased Sunward at FRP games. Unfortunately, it's missing about 17 pages (pages 17 to 32). They weren't torn out, so it must've been a printing error. Has anyone else experienced this problem, or is it most likely just my copy?

Every print run has a small percentage of misbound copies. Please contact FRP Games for a refund/replacement, and send me an email to adam at posthumanstudios.com

It seems I purchased one of the misbound copies from the Sandstorm booth at GenCon. And just discovered that fact when I cracked it open for the first time today. :( Am I S.O.L.?

3 Places I prefer to order from still showing Sunward as not arrived or waiting for more copies. Amazon I know has been messed up. Frp showing a few more days till some arrive. Is there a logjam somewhere or just selling out that fast?

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
I tried to order the book from SciFi Genre , and I have waited around 2 weeks until I was told that two of their primary suppliers have the book out of stock with not ETA for new copies. After that they dropped the book. Amazon is messed up indeed, and I want to ask where to try to order international. I found one copy in ebay for some price of 60 USD which is WTF.

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
Given that SciFi Genre still thinks EP is published by Catalyst, I'm not surprised that they have some wires crossed. Where do you live, Valyar? Prime, what's the 3rd store? You only named two. :-) FRP Games shows Sunward as being in stock. Books going temporarily out of stock at the store level isn't a big deal -- if they have proper systems in place, they'll re-order, especially if customers are placing orders.

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
3rd is local flgs (local at 50 miles away). Like most games that aren't wotc or paizo related they say they'll order it then come up with some sad story about how there dist. isn't showing it as available yet. (This has happened with several games I've tried to get through them., so I'm not holding my breath.) EDIT: FRP Indeed showing in stock again (was still out this morning) order away!

Name of the local game store would help. Sandstorm has people for this sort of thing. ;-)

Grand Slam Comics and Games: Olean NY I'me not sure if they just don't want to deal with games they can't sell in quantity or it really a distributor problem as they've repeatedly told me when I've tried to order other games through them.

Thanks for the links, Adam. Will try those shops, though I am not sure how to interact with the German one, the Google translate is not helping when ordering. Also, it is cheaper to order from US... :O I hope Amazon will finally fix the issue with sunward...

Just as an update, I received my replacement copy of 'Sunward' from the Posthuman/ Sandstorm crew yesterday. So that was a little under a week from complaint to turnaround to completion. Mad props to Adam for the excellent customer service!

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
Amazon claims that it sent me "Eclipse Phase: Sunward," except that it looks like "BattleTech Record Sheets 3085." In addition to not getting the product I ordered, Amazon also ripped me off for at least $20.00 worth of value! Suffice to say, Amazon has proven itself to be the worst Internet store for gaming books that I have ever seen in my entire life. Time to hit up FRP Games...

Is linking to Amazon on the releases page wise at this point? They've given up on the hardcover book being in store anytime soon and the softcover is almost certainly Record Sheets: 3085.

brrf... Amazon sucks(sorry for the language, but im very dissapointed) I recived my book today, and inside the box there is a Battletech 2085 book!!! Now im waiting for a reply form Amazon. I dont know whats the problem with them, Is that dificult to see the diference betwen the books?

Catalyst originally sent out information for Sunward using a specific ISBN. When we stopped publishing with them, they re-used that ISBN for a BattleTech book. ISBNs are _not_ supposed to be re-used in this way. This is one of the things that is causing such confusion at Amazon. Still working on getting it fixed. :/ Sorry for the hassles!

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
Probably only robots are working in their warehouses instead of real smart people, and only the packaging line is with humans, who don't really care what is in the box. :) I too wait for Amazon to fix the issue with the book, so I can order few.

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
Well at least they offered me a refund, but is a pitty that they make us wait for more than two months for the book. At least the book is really good and I think its deserves the long wait!

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
After pointing leisure games to sandstorm (they where unaware of the issue) and discovering that amazon still considered eclipse phase a catalyst product i ended up ordering from leisure games even tho they where more expensive. I kinda like leisure games. Great selection, quick shipping (no slower then if i ordered from inside norway, not sure if that says more about leisure games or the slowness of the norwegian postal service). Sure, amazon is cheaper. But i dont have to wait maybe half a month to get the books.

Nice touch on the little bookmark ribbon thingie on Sunward. Usually those only appear on limited editions. Consider us impressed. Your books stand out on quality, some of us do notice. Oh and ya I purchased from FRPgames, but then again I've always bought from them over the years since their physical location is 30 minutes from me.

Re: Sunward: Available in Print?
I'm from europe. FRP games's shipping expenses were oversized. For my order a few months ago, the postage for "Economy International" was $23.95 According to ircalc.usps.gov: "First-Class Mail® International Large Envelope 1lbs" $10.56 "Priority Mail® International Flat Rate Envelope, max weight 4 lbs" $13.45 My order weighed ~300g (~2/3 lbs), so I got shafted on the shipping costs. I hope others have better luck with them. I'll just have to wait until Amazon can get their gears aligned so they won't send me another Battletech Record Sheets 3085. (Yes, happened to me too...)
