Do i need to A) load the magazine with whatever type of bullets i want to be able to swap between or do you B) just fill the smart magazine with regular bullets or special multifuction bullets and they get quickly changed into the type of bullets you want to fire via the smart magazine. Its probably option A but this will seem to require alot of book keeping for ammo, you would have to say ok i load one magazine with 6 armour piercing rounds & 9 biter rounds, so i can only fire one full burst of ap fire etc I would prefer option B because it has less book keeping, you would truely be able to swap ammo types in combat and not worry about having to have loaded the clips before hand and the smart magazine is moderate cost so more expensive than most 100 rounds of smart ammo already and the majority of the time your going to add in a extended magazine too meaning that the gun gets expensive. Am i overthinking things? What do others think?
