Rimward Street Date: October 3rd, 2012

Our newest release, Rimward: The Outer System, will be in stores Wednesday Oct. 3rd! This 200-page, full-color, hardcover sourcebook ($44.99) details the outer half of the solar system, from the Main Belt to the Kuiper Belt, visiting all of the major stations and habitats. The predominant outer system factions are also outlined, including the anarchists, brinkers, Extropians, scum, Titanians, and ultimates. A selection of new morphs and gear rounds out the material. This sourcebook is a companion to the Sunward sourcebook and a great resource for running campaigns and scenarios in the outer rim. Now is a great time to tell your friendly local game store to put in an order, as it ships out to stores early next week! Also, check out Rimward Preview 2: Locus and the Table of Contents.

Japanese EP Replay Novels in Role&Roll Magazine

Our friends at Arclight in Japan are publishing an Eclipse Phase replay novel in the pages of their Role&Roll Magazine. The first episode appeared in issue 88 and will continue in issue 91 (out in April).

We just received some copies of the first issue in the mail, and they look good -- wish we could read them! A few months back they also sent us a handout for Eclipse Phase they had designed and printed up for giving away at conventions and game shops. A big thanks go out to Akira Okawada, Yusuke Tokita, and other folks who have been helping to spread awareness about Eclipse Phase in Japan. Thanks to their efforts, we're near to finalizing a contract with Arclight for a Japanese translation of Eclipse Phase!

Damaged Book Bundles

As the business end-of-year approaches, we are faced with a small task that every publisher hates: disposing of damaged copies of our books. It costs us between $5 and $10 to print a typical Eclipse Phase book (just printing, not including any of the costs to write, illustrate, edit, layout, index, etc.,) so sending several thousand dollars of books to the recycler burns us; yes, we get to write those books off, but the lost potential revenue is much larger than that.

So in the tradition of experimentation, we are making two types of bundles of these damaged books available before we recycle the remainder:

* "One of Everything" -- for only $100, you get one copy of Eclipse Phase, one copy of Sunward: The Inner System, one copy of Gatecrashing, and one copy of Panopticon: Volume 1. There are only five of these bundles available! ($180 total value)
